Ocean Park is one of the most popular
attractions in Hong Kong on the southeastern part of China.

Wong Tai Sin Temple is called a Taoist
temple that was founded in 1921 and was labeled the most famous
temple in Hong Kong. This temple was named after a 15 year old
with the name of Wong Chuping. Wong Chuping started following

and became immortal. People say he could punish the evil, heal
wounds, and rescue the dying. Most people who go to visit the
temple, go just to have their fortune told. The worshippers will
go kneel at the main altar, make a wish and then shake the
Bamboo stick that holds fortunes and they shake it until one
falls out. Of course the temple has the traditional Chinese
architecture with the giant red pillars, a golden roof with blue

Victoria Peak is the highest point on the Hong Kong Island. The peak
is 554 meters above sea level and takes up the whole western part of
the island. The best way to reach the Peak is to take the Peak Tram
which has been running for more than 100 years and has had no
accidents to date. The ride on the Peak Tram will take about eight
minutes and visitors will see a seven story building that is in the
shape of a ship. This building is called the Peak Tower which

Ripley's Believe It or Not! Auditorium, and the Peak Explorer Motion

Things to do and see in Hong Kong
The Repulse Bay is said to be the most
popular bay in the region which is located in the southern part of
the island. The name of the bay comes from a battle in the 19th

This statue took 10 years to complete and it weighs in at about
250 ton. The Giant Buddha was established in 1993, there are 268
steps to the very top of the platform where Buddha sits. The

Hong Kong also has the Hong Kong Space
Museum which is a major museum to visitors and locals as well.
This museum is all about the astronomy and space science. The
Hong Kong Space Museum first opened in 1980 and sits on both the
east and west wing. The egg shaped dome was formerly known as
the planetarium's nucleus and underneath of the dome is the
Stanley Ho Space Theatre, the Hall of Space Science, workshops,
and offices. In the west wing of the museum there is the Hall of
Astronomy, a lecture hall, gift shop, and offices. The museum
also has an Omnimax and sky shows along with many astronomy
